Between one home and the next

A church is a people long before it is an address.

Our last Sunday at 7 Burnley Ave is October 25. After that, the church will meet at Freedom House temporarily, while our own building at 663 Colborne Street West is being renovated. Be assured that everything we represent goes with us.

What people are asking

Yes. Sunday worship now begins at 1:00 PM instead of 10:00 AM, and runs to 3:00 PM. Bible study opens the service, from 1:00 to 1:20 PM, so aim to arrive a little early and settle in.

Our last Sunday at 7 Burnley Ave is Sunday, October 25, and our first service at Freedom House is Sunday, November 1. Until then nothing changes.

This is a temporary relocation while we continue toward our permanent home at 663 Colborne Street West. The length of our stay is not confirmed yet. We will say so here and in service as soon as it is.

The Promiseland Project

Freedom House, 305 West Street, Brantford, ON N3R 3V6. Put that into your maps app and it will take you to the door. There is ample parking on site. Please follow the posted signs and the directions of the security team.

The security team will direct you when you arrive, so you do not need to work it out in advance. The venue is accessible. If you need assistance on the day, please contact the logistics team ahead of Sunday so we can have someone ready for you.

Yes. Youth and younger children have their own services at the same venue, at the same time as the main Sunday service. You will be directed to the check-in point when you arrive. Details about rooms, age groups and check-in arrangements will be communicated.

Current transportation arrangements have not changed. Please contact the transportation team if you need a ride to church on Sundays.

Request a ride

Midweek services are still to be communicated. As soon as they are settled we will announce it in service and put it on the events page, so check there for the current week before you travel.

No. You can still give by e-transfer, card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and in person at Freedom House. The giving page takes tithes, offerings, thanksgiving and gifts toward the Promiseland Project, which is the fund for the new building.

Give online

This page is the one to come back to. It is kept current as arrangements are confirmed, so whatever you read here is the latest answer, and anything new is announced in service as well. If you would rather ask a person, call or text 519-304-3600, or look for a member of the transition team on a Sunday.

Pray for the move and for the work at Colborne Street West. Arrive on time, follow the guidance at the venue, look out for one another, and share what has been confirmed rather than what has been heard.

Ask us directly

If something here does not answer your question, send it over. A real person reads these, and no question about getting to church is too small.

Either one is enough.
